Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do I register?

  1. You can call our office at 678-884-8241 or register on the website under the link that says: Registation

  1. What is a sponsor?

  1. Your sponsor is the person who told you about Foundations.

  1. What is included in the cost?

  1. The cost includes the cost of the seminar only. You are responsible for meals and lodging. If you choose to stay at the hotel, we have negotiated a group rate for you. You may also choose to stay at a nearby hotel or stay at home or with family or friends. You may eat at the hotel; you will be given sufficient time to eat nearby if you choose. Please note that the hotel does not allow outside meals to be brought into the hotel. However, you are encouraged to bring snacks to eat during breaks.

  1. What is the seminar format?

  1. The seminar is a two part workshop over two extended weekends (Friday morning through Sunday evening). The seminar is interactive, consisting of large group talks and experiential exercises, small-group and one-on-one discussions, and work that you will do alone. More information about the content of the seminar can be found on our web site.

  1. Do you offer group/family discounts?

  1. No.

  1. Who are the speakers?

  1. Most of the time you will not be listening to speakers, as this is definitely an “audience participation” event! That said, our facilitators and support staff and professionally trained and have conducted hundreds of seminars for thousands of individuals. Although our organization was founded in 2004, many of our facilitators have been in this role for previous, similar programs. Our facilitators also have certification, training, advanced degrees, and/or experience in personal coaching, positive psychology, conflict mediation, and personality types. You can read selected biographies on our web site.

  1. How much does it cost?

  1. The cost is $495.00 per seminar. If you register for both seminars at the same time the cost is $950.00. We can offer the program at a fraction of the cost of competing programs because we are a not-for-profit organization and use professionally trained large group facilitators in conjunction with many volunteer small group facilitators and support people.

  1. Do you have other locations?

  1. Not at the present time. If you have 20 plus people who would like to attend a Foundations workshop in your area please contact the office.

  1. I don't have much money, how can I afford the seminar?

  1. This is an investment in your future. Everything we have for the most part requires maintenance. You change the oil in your car, get new tires, service your heating and air etc. We believe Foundations is maintenance for you. The real question here is: "How can you not afford to attend?"

  1. Who should attend the seminar?

  1. Anyone who wants to achieve more balanced fulfilling lives

  1. What is the youngest person you would allow to attend the seminar?

  1. 18

  1. How often do you take breaks?

  1. We take 15 minute breaks about every two hours and meal times are one and one half hours.

  1. What is your refund policy?

  1. You may request a full refund up until two days before the day of the seminar by contacting the office. You may also request a full refund at the end of the seminar on Sunday if you feel you have not received value from the seminar (again, you must request the refund before you leave the seminar). Otherwise, there are no refunds.

  1. What is your cancellation policy?

  1. If for some reason you need to cancel please call the office as soon as possible.

  1. Can I make my hotel reservations on your website? If not, what do I need to do?

  1. We work with the hotel to provide competitive group rates to you. However, you will need to reserve your room via phone or the email link below. This link is provided as a service to you. Foundations does not pay for the room or have any information regarding your lodging.

  1. My friends keep pressuring me to attend. I don't feel like there is anything that I need to fix.

  1. We don't think you need to fixed either! Our seminars are for individuals who want more success in life and are interested about learning new, simple tools to help find that success.

  1. What should I wear?

  1. Layers are always best. Everyone needs to be comfortable so make sure whatever you wear you are comfortable. The training rooms can be cold so bring a light jacket even in the summer.

  1. Can I get the same information from a book?

  1. Absolutely! We will also suggest books for you to read. What we provide is an interactive environment where you can learn how to use the ideas we present to you in every life situation.

  1. My life is so hectic. Why should I do something else that is going to take up more of my time

  1. Stress, working all the time, and taking care of everyone else is a prescription for health issues. For you to take three full days for You is not a long commitment. You will learn ways to create a more fulfilling life instead of a life full of "Things you have to do"!

  1. What are the start and end times of the seminar?

  1. We start Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. and end at 9:00 pm. Saturday runs from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday runs from 9:00 am until 6:30 pm.

  1. How late can I register?

  1. We encourage you to register at least two weeks prior to the seminar. We take registration on a space-available basis until the day before the training, so give us a call to see if we can accommodate you.
